October Hostess Club Projects

 As promised, here are the October Hostess Club Projects...

This card was cased from a swap that I got at convention.  The basic idea came from Jill Nolan.  It was a beautifully simple card.  LOVE IT!  There would be no problems mailing this card!  Here is Jill's Card.  Sorry about the photo...it was taken at convention.

 

 

However, I wanted to use this idea for my Hostess Club, so I wanted to spark it up a bit.  Here is what I came up with.

This next card was totally cased from Carrie Gaskin (except I changed the Designer Series Paper and added an inside layer).  Thanks Carrie for the inspiration.  This is a VERY detailed card, but it is so incredibly beautiful!

Christmas is coming fast!  I decided to try and use several of our new products on this one! 

I used Whisper White card stock on the inside, so that I can stamp a sentiment later, or write a greeting.

I am not sure if you can see the frost white shimmer paint on the snowflake or not.  I poured a very small amount of shimmer paint on a small paper plate and then took a piece of wax paper and crinkled it up.  Then I dipped the wax paper into the paint and scrunched it around on the plate to remove some of it from the wax paper.  Then I scrunched it on some Glossy White Card Stock (you do not want this real heavy).  I let it dry for a few minutes and then punched out a snowflake.  It has a nice shimmer effect!
