Can't Say That I Never Win Anymore!

Just look at the awesome stuff that I won at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference today!  Please pardon the glare of the plastic on the Decor Stencil. I didn't unwrap it because I want to get it home safely. :)  Yes, I did say "stencil". SU! now has a line of stencils that coordinate with our Decor Elements to complete the look of any room in your home. These stencils work awesome on our linen scrapbooks, fabric, walls, and yes, even paper projects!

My New Assignment...

I've recently been hired as a "Creative Deisnger" for the month of January by my upline, Sherrill Graff, to create some samples using products from the brand new catalog for her. So, now we just have to wait for the new catalog and I'll be placing an order to get busy for her.

Denver West Stamp Camp Projects, Part 1

Please accept my apologies for not getting these out sooner. I just got a new camera the day before Thanksgiving, so I'm on a little learning curve here. :)

Here are a few of the projects from the Denver West Stamp Camp that I participated in on November 22. I hope to get them all edited and posted in the next few days. Didn't the gals do a FABULOUS job?

Home from Georgia, Alabama, & Tennessee!

Thanks for your patience as I traveled down to Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.  I had a wonderful time with my awesome friends, Jennifer, Jessica, and Joann (all three SU! demonstrators!). As you can imagine, we got in some incredible stamping time. I did a presentation on the Big Shot for Joann Wiemer's downline in Alabama and I had so much fun preparing for it!  You'll get to see some of the great things that I made over the next few weeks.  I still have photos to take and photo editing to do, but I promise, I'll have some things that you will enjoy!

As for right now, I'm two weeks behind in taking care of things around the house, so I best get off to work!

Did I Just Hear the Doorbell?

Why, yes I did! It was that wonderful man in brown delivering all kinds of goodies to me!  The catalogs arrived and so did my Big Shot preorder!  Woo! Hoo!

Where Have I Been?

Wow!  What an effort to sell all of my RETIRED Stampin' Up! Merchandise.  We had a bomb of a sale and after investing 9 FULL days into it, we are SO glad that it's over!  Thanks to everyone that gave all of my retired items a new home.  :)  I do still have about 200 stamp sets and a few miscellaneous items left.  We're still trying to figure out the best way to get them on my blog.  I'll keep you posted.

Stamping in Georgia Part II

As part of Joann's Fall Retreat, we received the "True Friend" set in the Holiday Mini 2007 catalog.  Here are some of the cards that we made using this set.  I have fallen in love with this set!

Stamping In Georgia

Last week I was in Georgia stamping my heart out with my good friend Jennifer Franzen!  I got the wonderful privilege of meeting her friend Cathy, who I am now thrilled to call my friend as well.  We all took a little break from our stamping to get a bit of southern cooking from the Blue Willow Inn in Social Circle, Georgia.  It was so delicious!  I got to try my first fried green tomato, and I have to admit, I'm now hooked!

Jennifer and I took a little trip to Alabama to attend a stamp retreat with her upline, Joann Wiemers.  I don't believe that I've ever met a kinder, more sincere person than Joann.  She and her downline made me feel so welcome and loved.

Here are a couple of the projects that we made at Joann's Fall Retreat.

This is a small chipboard box that we covered with Brocade Background Designer Series Paper.  The flowers are from the SU! Pretties Kit.  We colored them with Pale Plum and Perfect Plum Stampin' Write Markers.

This fabulous clipboard was designed by Charity Wright - she's a very sweet gal and one talented stamper!

Roughing It In the Vail Valley :)

It's been a while since I've written due to my husband and me taking a restful vacation in the Vail Valley last week.  I actually took stamping projects along and it was quite interesting trying to get enough lighting in our condo.  My husband couldn't resist taking photos.  I thought you might enjoy them as well.

Here's the project that I was working on.  My precious grandson just loves Cheerios, so I had to scrap a page for him!  Isn't he just too cute?  I sent a copy of this page into SU! as part of my application packet to be an event demonstrator.  It's been four years since I've helped with an event.  Prior to that, I worked four or five events straight.  They made some of us take a break to let others have an opportunity.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.  I'll be posting some of the other items I sent in later.  I did send Stan's bday card and the Updated Birthday card mentioned in previous posts.
