I'm off to Hawaii Today!

Just a quick note to let you know that I'm going on my long-awaited Hawaiian vacation. We've been to Hawaii three times, but my husband was on business each time. This is our first REAL vacation.  I'll let you know when I am back home and stamping!

Due to the fact that I won't be home to stamp up some fun and fabulous items for you, there won't be too much stamp-related activity on my blog. However, I did take a few photos of my "new" stamp studio for you and few other things. I hope to have time to get them posted for you.

A Side Trip to Merritt Island Nature Reserve

This past Tuesday, we decided to head to the Merritt Island Nature Reserve and Cocoa Beach (in Florida).  While at the Nature Reserve, we made friends with this little guy.  His name is Wally.  Seriously, the ranger told us so!

Check out this shot that I got of his eye...you can see the blades of grass reflecting in it! His eyeliner is pretty FABULOUS as well!

We also went to the Manatee Viewing Area.  I'm still learning how to use my new camera, so I was playing with my Circular Polarizing Lens.  Look at these creatures, they were so amazing!

And then we were off to Cocoa Beach for a yummy lunch...

Then we headed down the beach for a lovely walk.
